The Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan South recently held the first special gathering of Church officers for 2023. The holy occasion was conducted on January 13, 2023. It was conducted twice that day.
The special gathering that was held in the morning was hosted from the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Kaohsiung City. Meanwhile, that which was held in the evening was hosted from the place of worship of Annan. Other congregations connected via videoconferencing. Depending on their free hours from work, the brethren attended either the morning or evening gathering.
Brother Roel Castillo, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy occasions. Through his Bible-based homily, he exhorted the attendees to remain active in serving God by fulfilling their duties. He emboldened them through God’s words to always actively participate in the activities launched by the Church Administration.
“As a Church officer, this kind of activity is important for me to be able to fulfill my sworn duty and take care of my divine election. I am grateful for I was able to attend the first special gathering of the year in our district,” Ronna Quinan, an officer in the Finance department from Kaohsiung City Congregation, enthused. “The words of God that I have received in this gathering renewed my strength and inspired me.”— With reports from INC News Section
