A physical fitness activity organized by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) of the Local Congregation of Ansan, Ecclesiastical District of South Korea, served as a fruitful health reminder for the brethren. Held on May 29, 2022, the activity was conducted at the Bandal Park in Suwon, South Korea.

After receiving pre-activity instructions at the multi-purpose hall of the Ansan Congregation’s house of worship, the Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi members who turned out for the activity proceeded to the park.

Led by fitness enthusiast-brethren, the attendees first performed warm-up exercises and then on to structured workout routines. The participants were introduced to dynamic stretches and other exercise movements like squat or leg press, chest press, single-leg squat, and planking exercises.

“The activity aims to make the brethren active and strong physically and mentally. In so doing, we can better perform our services to the Lord God,” said Brother Vener Vergara, the resident minister.

“I am very thankful for this event. I am glad to be able to join and participate,” said Choir officer Mabel Yang. “Through this, we can look after our physical and mental being and be happy. I can stay healthy.”

Binhi officer Hanna Maecern Vergara said in Korean, “This fitness activity was fun and good for the health.” — With reports from INC News Section
