
Making the most of the summer season with the family and loved ones, the Buklod, KADIWA, Binhi, and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members from the Local Congregation of Regina, Saskatchewan and the Worship Service (GWS) of Moosejaw, Saskatchewan in the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba participated in an “international” food fair.
With health restrictions in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada, downgraded, the brethren took the opportunity to gather at the chapel grounds of the Local Congregation of Regina to participate in a food fair held on July 18, 2021.
The congregations’ leaderships noted that during that period large-scale outdoor venues can be used at 100 percent capacity under Response Level Orange.
The food fair featured various Filipino, Japanese, Italian, and Chinese cuisine prepared by the brethren and set up in food trucks.
Besides sharing the sumptuous delights, the participants enjoyed playing parlor games together. Attendees included the brethren’s guests.
Eliciting from the participants’ gratitude to the Church Administration, the wholesome Christian Family Organizations-sponsored event gave the brethren quality time with their families and loved ones and a great opportunity to strengthen their Christian brotherhood. ― With reports from INC News Section
