In connection with the 49th anniversary of the KADIWA, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) Christian Family Organization for single brethren 18 years old and above, the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West held a KADIWA Formal Night. The activity was held on October 23, 2022 at the Grand Star Receptions, an events place in Altona North, Victoria, Australia.

KADIWA members from local congregations in Metro Melbourne, Adelaide, and Palmerston were serenaded with performances of INC original music. They also participated in several fun games including Bring Me, Whisper Challenge, and Connect the Dots. A photo booth was also set up for the activity.

“The KADIWA members were able to get out of their shell, talk to each other, and know each other in a deeper level. These valuable moments forged friendship,” Kimberly Arellano, district KADIWA vice president, said. “Doing things like laughing and dining together strengthen the love of brotherhood that also strengthen the members’ faith.”

“It’s nice to have this event seeing my friends from Melbourne. It’s a joyful time. The brethren here are so friendly and welcoming to us,” Nicole Kate Fernandez, a KADIWA member from the Local Congregation of Adelaide, South Australia, expressed.

KADIWA (short for Kabataang may Diwang Wagas, roughly translated as Youth with Noble Intent) was established in 1973 by Brother Eraño G. Manalo, the then Executive Minister. Since then, it has been very active in edifying the faith of the youth and helping them prepare for a stable married life. It is under the umbrella of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO). — With reports from INC News Section
