Four local congregations within Olongapo City, Zambales, Philippines, which belong in the Ecclesiastical District of Zambales South, united their efforts for an evangelical mission to proclaim God’s words on November 27, 2022.

For this particular mission held at the Olongapo Congregation’s house of worship, the Church officers, doctrinal instructees as well as prospective baptismal candidates, F. Manalo, Olongapo, Pag-Asa, and West Tapinac served as primary participants in inviting guests.

“We led the brethren under our care, especially the doctrinal instructees and prospective baptismal candidates, inviting many people to attend the missionary activity hosted by our cluster,” said Marilou Bartolome, a choir member from the Local Congregation of Pag-Asa. “Personally, I invited my relatives in this evangelical mission. Many of those whom we invited accepted our invitation and we accompanied them.”

Alicia Abedejos, a deaconess, from the same congregation, said that she set a devotional prayer “to ask God to give me courage in inviting people to attend the Church’s missionary activities.” She went on to promise to “continue to do my best in helping in the work of propagation. I will invite the guests to also attend our worship services.”

Brother Ignacio Garcia Jr., the district Light of Salvation overseer, officiated at the evangelical mission. The Bible-based lesson he taught delved on the reason man needs the true Church of Christ in order to in receive the hope of salvation. — With reports from INC News Section
