“The Binhi Friendship Day is important because it helps the young members strengthen their bond of brotherhood. Such an activity unites us as brethren in the Church,” Caitlyn Nilo, district Binhi president, said. “The brethren were able to become closer and made new friends with their fellow Binhi members. We hope that they will be more comfortable approaching each other, especially in activities that we will have in the future.”
Such was the impression the Binhi Friendship Day, hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of New Jersey, made among the participants. The activity was held on November 13, 2022 in two venues: at the function hall of the house of worship of the local congregations of Elizabeth and Winslow, for the district’s north and south region, respectively.
Brother Lowell Nucum, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, supervised the activity held in Elizabeth while Brother Rogelio Amoguis, district auditor, supervised the one in Winslow. Both were organized and facilitated by the Binhi district leadership.
Binhi members were treated to fun games as well as team-building activities during the Friendship Day. The games included tic-tac-toe, musical chairs, rock-paper-scissors, and Stack Tower among others. — With reports from INC News Section
