Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) young members from the Local Congregation of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Ecclesiastical District of Washington DC conducted a Science Fun Day on February 28, 2021.

Brother EG Cabotaje, choir member and local secretary, served as the keynote speaker. Providing an easy to follow step-by-step instructions, he demonstrated a home science project called “Stacking Liquids.” “We layer each one on top of the other. On the bottom [of the container], we had the most dense liquid … glucose, a syrup … and we stacked less dense liquids on top of it, [such as] dish soap,” he explained.

The young attendees were supervised at their respective homes either by their parents or older siblings.

Leading his fellow Binhi and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members, Brother EG said, “Most of us are still young. By doing this activity, we can inspire them. Maybe this is what they want to do when they grow up … to do science or academics in the future.” What he himself benefited from this activity, he added that “to be of help to the Church, it strengthens my faith.” — With reports from INC News Section
