A special gathering was held for choir members in the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe on January 31, 2021 wherein members found renewed strength as they continue performing their Church duties.

Brother Marvin Adriano, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy occasion through videoconferencing. Through a biblical lesson, he reminded the attendees of the importance of always being active in fulfilling their duties.

“It is important for us to take part in these special gatherings for us to receive the words and advice of our Lord God which we need to strengthen our faith especially in these difficult times due to this pandemic. All the more for us, choir members, who have been chosen to lead the singing of hymns of praises. Through hymns of praises, the congregations are inspired to all the more give glory and praise to our Lord God,” said Félix Janier Eor, organist from Bastille, France Local Congregation.

Although the choir members also experience difficulties in life, Ana Mangalona, choir leader from Versailles, France Group Worship Service (GWS) shared her firm resolve: “With special gatherings such as this, we receive the help and guidance of our Almighty God so we won’t get discouraged but will be able to carry on with our journey in this world especially during these times,” she said.

The choir members were also reminded to unite with the Church Administration in propagating the pure gospel especially in these times that Judgment Day is near.

“It is our duty to share our faith to those who don’t know yet about the true Church, the true religion. We were also reminded that with a strong and firm faith, nothing is impossible,” said Khristen Estrella from Versailles, France GWS.

The congregants were thankful for the inspiration they received for them to continue being active in good works that will give glory to God.

“I promise to be more dedicated in my duty, I’ll perform it no matter what the situation is. This year, we don’t know what it has in store for us but I promise that no matter what happens I will serve our Almighty God and continue to help our Church Administration,” Ana added. ― With reports from INC News Section
