The Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers’ general assembly, convened by the leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Orange County, California on February 26, 2023 at the Anaheim Local Congregation house of worship, focused on a significant aspect of their sworn duties.

Officiating minister, Brother Hanzl De Dios, in his Bible-based lecture emphasized that the CWS officers must be good role models to the children entrusted to their care. The assistant district supervising minister explained that God expects them to be instrumental in molding the faith of their fellow younger brethren.

Sometime after the lecture, Kirk Fermin, district CWS chairperson, presented the CWS activities for the whole year. “We will continue being one with the Church Administration in edifying the children members. We will make sure that they remain active in attending worship services and participating in the Church activities dedicated for them,” he said later in an interview.

In the same spirit, William Medina, assistant CWS district chairperson, said, “Seeing the children happy and obedient to God’s commandments inspires me to fulfill my duty. I will keep being a good role model to them [and] remind them of what is right, which is none other than God’s will written in the Bible.” — With reports from INC News Section
