“I want to help the Church Administration in caring for, guiding, and teaching the young members for them to be faithful and to be able to fulfill the worthy service to the Lord God,” said Precious Faye Isubal, a newly-sworn in Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher from the Local Congregation of Buayan.

She was one of the many new officers in the CWS in the Ecclesiastical District of General Santos City, South Cotabato in the Philippines who took their oath of duty during a special gathering on November 29, 2021.

For the said gathering, besides the house of worship of the Local Congregation of New Era, the house of worship of Malungon and Malapatan were designated as sites for the special gathering.

Brother Noel Bocario Sr., the district supervising minister, led the occasion at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of New Era for the local congregations in the General Santos City area. Brothers Danilo Culipano, assistant district supervising minister, and Arnie Javier, district edification overseer, officiated at the house of worship of the Local Congregations of Malapatan and Malungon, respectively, for the local congregations in the said areas.

In their homily, the officiating ministers reminded the attendees of the devotion God seeks in them as they care for the children in the Church to mold them into true and faithful servants of His.

“I [also] learned in attending the special gathering to fully trust in what the [Almighty] Father can do for us and to be dedicated in holding the devotional prayer,” Irish Wyne Calinsawe, a choir member from Nursery Local Congregation, said.

“We should dedicate ourselves to fulfilling our [Church] duties come what may in our lives. If there would be trials and problems in our lives, we should always put our trust to the Father in Heaven,” Precious Faye added. — With reports from INC News Section
