Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Local Congregation of Tarlac City, Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac, who are already grandparents were feted during a Christian Family Organizations (CFO)-sponsored activity dubbed Grandparents Day on October 23, 2022.

CFO officers from the local congregation brought the elderly members together at the function hall of Baybreeze Garden Events Place along Santa Rosa-Tarlac Road in Tarlac City, Tarlac, Philippines.

“This activity aims to express how the brethren, especially the Church Administration through the Christian Family Organizations, value them [grandparents],” Eric Bulanadi, Buklod congregation president, explained.

The grandparents availed themselves of free health consultation by members of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS). Later on, they all watched several musical presentations featuring INC original music. Souvenir items were also given to them at the end of the activity.

“We are thankful to our Lord God for He continues to use our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, as an instrument in edifying the brethren and in approving this activity. Our brethren are truly joyful in this activity that strengthened their faith. Although the grandparents are old in age, but they will continue to use their lives to serve our Lord God,” Brother Jommar Macaspac, congregation CFO overseer, said. — With reports from INC News Section
