‘Gulayan sa Bakuran’ launched in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija

Members of the Buklod organization in the Ecclesiastical District of Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija in the Philippines launched the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) project “Gulayan sa Bakuran” (Backyard Farming) on September 14, 2019.

The ministers’ wives spearheaded the activity which was conducted at the Local Congregation of Jaen. The project aimed to teach the brethren effective crop growing at their own backyards.

Before planting, the attendees listened to a short seminar about the low-cost but effective methods of planting vegetable crops. The methods on how to beautify backyards and how to avoid harmful chemicals in planting were also discussed.

After the seminar, the attendees went to the planting area to plant the vegetable seedlings. ― With reports from INC News Section
