In the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean, a new group worship service (GWS) was recently established in Luqa, Malta.

Its inaugural worship service held at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel along Dragonara Road, Saint Julians, Malta on March 6, 2023 was officiated by Brother Ramil Regino, district supervising minister.

“The objective in adding a new GWS is to help the brethren all the more able to attend the worship services, which is by bringing the place of worship closer to where they live,” said Brother Regino in an interview. “It is also seen as a boost in the Church’s work of propagation in this place.”

Following the district minister’s homily, the initial set of officers, namely, Rahyam Sibayan, GWS overseer; Cathrina Sibayan and Arnold Rafanan, finance officers; and Ro-Anne Sibayan, congregation secretary, took their oath of duty.

The Luqa GWS now conducts regular worship service in the Sibayan residence at Luna block A, Flat 4, Triq il-Gdida, Luqa. — With reports from INC News Section
