KADIWA and Binhi members in the Local Congregation of Tabon, Ecclesiastical District of Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, Philippines attended a health awareness seminar on September 13, 2021, which was held at their local congregation’s house of worship. Richelle Feliscuzo, a registered nurse and psychometrician, served as keynote speaker.
During the said activity, Richelle emphasized to the attendees “the importance of a continuous and strict observance of the health and safety protocols being implemented by the government.” She also detailed to them the importance of getting vaccinated against Covid-19 as well as the kinds of vaccines currently available to residents.
The activity, which was held when the entire province of Surigao del Sur was under the less stringent General Community Quarantine classification, imparted knowledge to the attendees.
“I am so thankful that we have seminars like this,” enthused Nierjhon Cabanatan, an attendee, “which is truly informative.”
“Activities like this aim to advise Church members ways on how to all the more take care of their health, especially now that there is a pandemic crisis, so that they will not be hindered from serving God,” said Brother Cliff Gurion, resident ministerial worker who oversaw the event. — With reports from INC News Section
