With the brethren’s welfare in mind, the leadership of the KADIWA organization in the Local Congregation of Macau, Ecclesiastical District of Macau, sponsored a seminar dubbed “Taking Care of the Heart.”
Jan Adrian Hernandez, a registered nurse, served as the resource speaker in the seminar on Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), which was facilitated via videoconferencing on March 29, 2022.
In his lecture-presentation, Hernandez first explained to his fellow brethren the root causes and symptoms of CHD. He then went on to give tips on preventing the occurrence of the “most common heart disease that can cause death.”
“CHD happens when our heart’s blood supply is blocked or interrupted by a build-up of fatty substances in our coronary arteries,” Hernandez explained. “Eating a healthy diet, being physically fit and active, and managing stress can be helpful to prevent CHD.” — With reports from INC News Section
