“The atmosphere is welcoming,” said Christine Didi, a guest to the Frontliners’ Appreciation Day hosted by Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Heathrow North Group Worship Service (GWS), Ecclesiastical District of United Kingdom.

Held on May 1, 2022, the activity under the INC Giving project, provided an avenue for the brethren to express their gratitude for all the hard work that the health care workers in their community selflessly exert. Brother TJ Arellano, resident minister, first delivered an uplifting Bible-based message to the attendees.

Afterwards, a fun-filled program, which consisted of musical performances, games, and poetry reading, was facilitated by the brethren. Stories of faith were narrated by some brethren working on the front line in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. After the program, the guests received gift bags as a token of the brethren’s appreciation.

“The preaching felt like bringing connection between God and me, again, because after [contracting] Covid-19, I went down but I’m [still] alive now,” said Damaris Muchiri, a guest. — With reports from INC News Section
