Hundreds of individuals from provinces in the Visayas, Philippines covered by four ecclesiastical districts received baptism into the Iglesia Ni Cristo late last month.

On January 30, 2021, the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Samar held simultaneous baptisms in the houses of worship of the local congregations of Catarman and Palapag.

Two of the newly baptized members, husband and wife, Wilbert and Maricris Paghunasan, said, “We promise that we will never abandon our worship services to God and we will also help in spreading the words of God through the various propagational activities.”

In the Antique Ecclesiastical District, the baptism took place in the Guisijan Local Congregation’s house of worship on the same date.

During the study of God’s words, the district supervising minister, Simeon Laprades Jr., emphasized the great relevance of receiving holy baptism in the true Church Of Christ.

Roda Magbanua, from the Igdalaquit Local Congregation, said, “Today is very important to me because I am now a full-fledged Church Of Christ member. I promise that I will also invite my family members to bring them to the true services and worship of God.”

She was one of the fruits in the faith of Robert and Rowena Badoy, deacon and deaconess, who helped guide her in joining the Church.

“We thank God for letting us witness our brethren receive the holy baptism. By His grace, we were instrumental in their conversion in the true Church,” they said.
