The Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City added over 400 new faithful members to its roster during the baptism it conducted on July 30, 2022.

Hours before the sacred occasion, would-be members, accompanied by the brethren and Church officers instrumental in their conversion, gathered for the baptismal service in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Francisco, in whose compound are located the baptismal pools used for the sacred rite.

Brother Virgilio Del Rosario Sr., district supervising minister, officiated at the gathering, during which he taught the candidates for baptism the biblical truths concerning the great importance of remaining faithful servants of God as the members of the true Church Of Christ who strive to live in holiness.

After the homily, Brother Solomon Donato, the district overseer for edification, administered the oath-taking of the baptismal candidates.

Kimberly Kate Tiglao, one of the newly baptized from the Local Congregation of V. Luna, shared what made her decide to join the Church Of Christ. “I find the teachings convincing. The minister who taught me the basic teachings of the Bible upheld by the Church answered my questions, not through personal opinions, but from the Bible. That’s why I decided to continue joining the Church. My mission now is to encourage my parents, loved ones, and friends to know the truth about salvation,” she said.

“From the ministers, the Church officers, and the brethren, all of us here in the District of Quezon City strive to further intensify the work of propagation launched by the Church Administration,” said Brother Del Rosario in an interview. “We are thankful that the Lord God allowed our district to hold this baptism, adding more people into the Church Of Christ.” — With reports from INC News Section
