As a result of the brethren’s efforts in unceasingly sharing their faith, the Church membership in the Ecclesiastical District of Rizal in the Philippines continues to increase. The baptism held on May 29, 2021 at the house of worship of Angono Local Congregation added hundreds of new members into the Church Of Christ.
Strictly adhering to health and safety protocols, as the province of Rizal remains in General Community Quarantine (GCQ), the candidates for baptism, prior to the baptismal proper, listened attentively to the preaching of God’s words by the district supervising minister, Brother Virgilio del Rosario Sr.
He emphasized through the Holy Scriptures the incomparable value of membership in the true Church Of Christ for the attainment of eternal life in the Holy City on the Day of Judgment.
Gladys Reyes-Sommereux, mother of one of the newly baptized members, expressed, “I thank God because despite the pandemic, it did not hinder my daughter, Giana, from finally reaching the day of her baptism.”
Now that he is a full-fledged Church Of Christ member, Norsalem Raymond Mama-o, promised, “I will fulfill all the teachings of God that has been taught to me. I will also share these to my family and co-workers for them to know the truth that we uphold inside the Church.”
“The Ecclesiastical District of Rizal, with God’s help, continuously conducts baptism while following all the health protocols. We will not stop proclaiming God’s words to other people so we can bring them to the Church and salvation,” said Brother del Rosario in an interview. — With reports from INC News Section
