Hundreds receive ‘greater gifts’ in Bogo City, Cebu District

Hundreds of Iglesia Ni Cristo members from various local congregations in Bantayan area of the Ecclesiastical District of Bogo City, Cebu took their oath of office, formally receiving duties in the Church which the Bible calls the “greater gifts.”

This was during the special gathering of Church officers held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Bantayan on February 29, 2020 which was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Mario Mabuti. In his homily, he emphasized the value of performing one’s duties in the Church Of Christ to receive God’s blessings and salvation. He added that Church duty is a precious gift from God to His servants.

The new Church officers now assigned to the various departments of their respective congregations are an added strength to the Church’s works of propagation and edification of the faith.
