One of the 36 local congregations under the jurisdiction of the Antique Ecclesiastical District, the Local Congregation of Igdalaquit stepped up efforts in propagating the true faith by holding an online Pasugo drive on January 15, 2022.
Led by their resident minister, Brother Gilbert Venteroso, the Church officers and brethren, through their various social media accounts, introduced the Church Of Christ to their friends and family members by sending the links of various articles published on the official website of the Church’s magazine—pasugo.com.ph.
Through this online evangelistic activity, the brethren hoped that more people were given the chance to know more about the Church and the teachings it upholds.
“I am happy that I was given another opportunity to share my faith,” Anthony Mide, a choir member and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher, said. “Through modern technology and social media, we were able to let others know what the Church Of Christ is. I hope that they will strive to learn more about [God’s words] for them to be saved.”
“The online Pasugo drive is an effective way to reach out to our loved ones and acquaintances to let them know about the teachings [of God] that we uphold,” said Brother Venteroso. “We thank God because through the Church Administration, we are able to share the true faith despite the ongoing pandemic.”
With the Church Administration’s call for all Church members to participate in the intensified works of the Church, including the works of propagation, the brethren from the Igdalaquit Congregation are always enthusiastic in lending themselves instruments so that more people will learn the truth. — With reports from INC News Section
