Iloilo South conducts baptism in Guimaras

The efforts of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) local congregations in the Philippine island-province of Guimaras in the work of propagation was once again been blessed with good results.
On April 25, 2023, prospective members under the care of these congregations, which belong in the Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo South, received their baptism at the Alaguisok Local Congregation’s house of worship.
Brother Elias Molejon Sr. officiated at the sacred occasion, delivering the lesson based on the Holy Scriptures for the further instruction and edification of the candidates for baptism.
The assistant district supervising minister reminded them that as members of the true Church Of Christ, it is also vital to their salvation that they remain obedient to all of God’s commandments that they received whatever they may experience in life.
After the preaching of God’s words, the candidates for baptism took their oath of membership, then the actual baptism.
One of the new converts, Elsa Galve, shared that while she was still undergoing doctrinal instruction, people around her tried to persecute her but failed to dissuade her from joining the Church. “I’m truly happy for God has guided me into the true Church,” she said. — With reports from Gem Atanacio of INC News Section
