Brethren from Salima, Malawi in the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Africa were uplifted in their faith as they witnessed the inaugural worship service of the Salima Group Worship Service (GWS) held at Salima, Malawi, Southeastern Africa on January 11, 2020.
Brother Randy Macalinao, assistant district supervising minister, officiated the holy gathering. He emphasized the value of worship services to God. Robert Makawi translated the preaching of God’s words to their native language.
Interviewed brethren expressed their happiness for they can now conduct worship services closer to their homes.
Ester Adini Simaiwa, chieftain and senior group village headman, said, “I will be one of the members of this Church and will invite my fellow chiefs as well to join too.”
After the worship service, the brethren and their guests watched a video presentation as part of the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s (Church Of Christ) relaunching of the “My Countrymen, My Brethren” activity. ― With reports from INC News Section
