Through God’s help, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) has now gained a foothold in Albania, in the Balkan peninsula, with the establishment of a group worship service (GWS) in Lushnjë, a city in Fier County.

The inaugural worship service of the Albania GWS was held on September 7, 2022, coinciding with the 13th anniversary of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo as Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ.

Brother Ramil Regino, the supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean, officiated at the sacred gathering which was held at a rented room in Mk Hotel Tirana, along Rinas Rd, in the country’s capital, Tirana. Succeeding worship services of the new GWS would be held at a rented property along Vedut, Dokollari, Lushnjë, Albania.

Cesar Ejorcadas, who has been appointed as GWS overseer, said, “Being entrusted a Church duty is a privilege. Thus, I will not relent in reminding and leading my fellow brethren here in Albania to be active in our worship and services to God. We hope that God calls many more of our fellowmen here to become members of the true Church.”

With the establishment of the GWS in Albania, the District of the Mediterranean now oversees congregations of the Church Of Christ members in 11 countries namely, Albania, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Turkey. — With reports from INC News Section
