An INCinema film showing organized by the Local Congregation of Baoshan, Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan touched the hearts of the brethren there who are Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). Held on April 16, 2022, the activity paved way for the brethren to gather online and watch together the film “Lente,” a 34-minuter movie their district produced in 2021.

From their homes, the brethren watched the adventures of Roberto, an aspiring photographer, who, in the midst of the pandemic, went looking for love. Through the twists and turns in his life, he learned about the importance of relying on the words of God in order to find the ‘right one.’

“It is our hope that through the film, the brethren, especially the KADIWA members, learned the proper way of entering a romantic relationship with the opposite sex and, most of all, for them to have faith that our Lord God will give them the right partner,” Brother Julius Caezar Santiago, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, said.

“I enjoyed watching ‘Lente’ since it helped me to realize that we, single members, should be patient and never rush in choosing our life partner,” John Karlo Sanggalang, a Finance officer, said. “I am very happy with our activity and I felt the concern of the Church officers to the brethren.” — With reports from INC News Section
