Brethren, led by the Church officers, from the Local Congregation of Inicbulan, Ecclesiastical District of Batangas, worked hand-in-hand to bring God’s words to the neighboring barangay (village) of San Roque, in the town Bauan, in Batangas. On October 4, 2022, they traveled there and invited the residents to an evangelical mission which was held at the Church’s missionary center in the village. Brother Israeli F. Gatchalian, the district supervising minister, preached God’s words in the said evangelistic activity.

Through the brethren’s efforts, more than 200 guests showed up for the evangelical mission. In his Bible-based preaching, Brother Gatchalian taught the attendees about the necessity of becoming a member of the true Church Of Christ in order to receive salvation.

“We have been going here [in San Roque] for a year now and with God’s help, we were able to bear fruits. Our local congregation will continue to conduct devotional prayers to ask the Father that the Church works here will triumph,” shared Brother JV Bacay, resident ministerial worker of the Inicbulan congregation.

According to Brother Bacay, they conducted a daily devotional prayer for a week and also distributed copies of the Church’s magazine and pamphlets prior to the evangelical mission.

“Amid the pressure and demands in life, I find solace in helping in the works of the Church. I always remind my family that we should always find time to take part in propagating the true faith no matter how busy we are,” enthused Ronald Gomez, a deacon in Inicbulan.

As of this writing, brethren from Inicbulan are doing their best so that more people in San Roque embrace the true faith. “We see the potential of our work here in San Roque. God willing, an extension will rise here,” said Brother Bacay. — With reports from INC News Section
