The intensive propagation of God’s words by the Ecclesiastical District of Davao del Norte has been consistently bearing abundant fruits in that the regular, a baptism of new converts has continued to be held, the latest of which was on January 22, 2022.

The district supervising minister, Brother Israel Flores, officiated at the holy occasion in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Tagum City. During his homily, he explained the importance of being a member of the true Church in order to be able to uphold the proper way of serving and worshiping God as taught in the Bible. He gave inspiration to the candidates for baptism who were about to receive the right to serve God that by fulfilling the said sacred duty, they will be certain of the promised salvation.

The newly baptized members were the fruits of the propagation efforts of the brethren in the past few months. Most of them were the guests from the evangelical missions and the recipients of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine whom the brethren have walked through until reaching their baptism.

Alma Amante, one of the prospective members who reached the day of her baptism that day, and now enlisted in the Kapalong Congregation, said, “I thank God because I am now a member of the Church Of Christ.” Having understood and believed in what the Bible assures as the fortune of those who are baptized into the true Church, she promised, “Just like what the brethren did, we will also invite many people to be baptized in the Church Of Christ. God can expect that I will be sincere in my services to Him.”

One of the five ecclesiastical districts in Davao Region, Southern Mindanao, Philippines, the Davao del Norte District oversees 43 local congregations, 10 extensions, and 14 group worship services. — With reports from INC News Section
