The Ecclesiastical District of Isabela West, currently under the supervision of Brother Ronilo R. Delos Reyes, conducted baptism on February 25, 2023, the second this year, further adding a significant number of new faithful into the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in that part of the Philippines.

Held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Roxas, the sacred occasion was officiated by Brother Benigno Esguerra Jr., assistant district supervising minister.

Through the Bible-based lesson he taught, the candidates for baptism were further edified regarding the great relevance of obedience to God’s will, amid persecutions and troubles, to remaining active members of the Church Of Christ. These, among others, they solemnly pledged to fulfill all their lives during their oath of membership, followed by their immersion into the baptismal water as the Bible decrees.

One of the newly baptized, Rodrigo Miguel Jr., admitted that at first, he was “hesitant to attend Bible studies in the Church Of Christ. But right after accepting an invitation to one, I firmly believed in what was taught, which was about the importance of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. It paved the way for me to decide joining this Church.”

He added that “No matter what I face in this life, I will remain holding on to the true faith and even share this with my loved ones so that they, too, will become Church members someday.” — With reports from INC News Section
