To promote physical and mental wellness, the Ecclesiastical District of Isabela West in the Philippines encouraged the brethren to take part in the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) sports activities on March 13, 2021.
Due to the implementation of health protocols, the activity was held in different locations with the participants connected to one another through videoconferencing.
The brethren played board games such as chess, Game of the Generals, Scrabble, and Chinese checkers. Additional games were darts, speed stacks, and Rubik’s Cube solving.
Basketball, a favorite sports event, was limited to the Slam dunk and Three-Point Shoot out to avoid physical contact.
The brethren thanked the Lord God and the Church Administration because despite the current pandemic, the CFO continues to launch activities that keep them healthy, give them inspiration, and strengthen their bond as brothers and sisters in the faith. — With reports from INC News Section
