“Life nowadays is really so difficult. But now that I’m a member of the Church Of Christ, it feels like I can face anything through the help of our Lord God.”

Thus said Wilfredo Saad, one of the converts in Isabela West Ecclesiastical District who received their baptism on March 20, 2021 at the house of worship of Quezon Local Congregation.

Prior to their immersion into the water, the candidates for baptism were taught biblical teachings by the district supervising minister, Brother Eugenio Corpuz Jr. From the Holy Scriptures, he reminded them of the great blessings that the true baptism brings. He also emphasized to them that upon sharing in the Lord’s death through baptism, they are expected to lead a new life and obeying all of God’s commandments and actively uniting with the Church Administration.

The baptism came as a result of the district’s efforts to propagate God’s words even during this time of pandemic.

“The Church Administration has launched the intensive propagation of God’s words so that many people will have the right to receive the promised salvation, especially now that Judgment Day is fast approaching,” said Brother Corpuz, “Indeed, we have to share the Good News of salvation to as many people as possible.” — With reports from INC News Section
