To hone the photography and videography skills of the members of the multimedia team in the Ecclesiastical District of Italy North, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) district leadership had them undergo a training workshop.
They did this as they toured the famous Cinque Terre, a tourist attraction in La Spezia, Liguria, Italy, on June 2, 2022, which they used as their subject.
The multimedia team members grouped themselves into two. “The challenge for the first team was how to write a script, make a canned report, edit it, and conduct interviews,” Kate Luistro, the multimedia director, explained. “The second team, on the other hand, was tasked to do vlogs and documentations, enumerate the things they see in a particular place, and express their experiences.”
As a form of training, they applied the ideas and principles they learned during past webinars on photography and videography.
“This activity helped us … to enhance our ability, how to be productive, worthy, and efficient in the field of videography and photography as well,” Mary Jane Dula, one of the participants, said.
Their added skills would translate into better photo and video productions for the reporting and documentation of Church activities in the district as expected.
“The purpose of this activity was for the members and crew of our organization to meet in person after two years of isolation due to the pandemic,” disclosed Brother Jerald Garcia, the district multimedia adviser who supervised the activity. “Likewise, [it was] to enhance their skills in photography and videography. Above all, to strengthen the bond of the multimedia members, our faith, and unity with the Church Administration.” — With reports from INC News Section
