“In our part as students, this kind of activity truly gave us strength in the faith. The Church Administration always teaches us God’s words for us to be guided in our studies as well as our spiritual welfare,” said Charmaine Lacuesta, a choir member from the Local Congregation of Roma Est, and a freshman taking up Law.
On July 11, 2021, Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) members from the local congregations of Rome, Roma Sud, Roma Est, Roma Nord, and Salermo Group Worship Service (GWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South attended a special gathering at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Rome. Other brethren joined, from the comfort of their homes, through videoconferencing.
Brother Randy Macalinao, district supervising minister, taught God’s words to strengthen the faith of the CBI members. He reminded them that God has laid in store long life and successes for those who love and respect their parents in the Lord no matter what they achieve in life.
“In this day, a special gathering was conducted for all students in the district. This is a good opportunity for brethren to be recognized in their achievements especially those who graduated this year,” said Klein Marvin Mendiola, from the Local Congregation of Roma Est, a fifth-year Law student and the CBI district president.
“This activity helped us to edify our faith in the Church and our Almighty God. As a student, I promise that I’ll always participate in every activity in the Church,” said in Italian by Krizzia Virtucio, a choir member from the Local Congregation of Roma Est who is a Clinical Engineering sophomore.
“We are thankful to the Church Administration for allowing such activity that truly strengthens the faith of all the brethren in the Church. We thank you so much,” said Rester Brendon Entienza, CBI district socio-cultural committee chairperson from the Salermo GWS, a new enrollee taking up Aerospace Engineering. ― With reports from INC News Section
