Officers of the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN), Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS), and Light of Salvation (LOS) from the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South received spiritual upliftment during special gatherings that were held on two consecutive days.

On February 20, 2023, the holy gathering held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Roma Centro was aimed at commemorating SCAN’s 34th anniversary and CMDPS’s fourth anniversary.

Officers from the six local congregations in Rome (Roma Centro, Roma Est, Roma Nord, Roma Ovest, Roma Sud, and Rome) convened at the said house of worship while those from other local congregations and group worship services (GWS) of the district gathered at their respective places of worship to also attend the event via livestreaming.

Brother Michael Pineda, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer officiated at the special gathering. He reminded the attendees that, as they fulfill their Church duties, they should take inspiration from God’s abiding help to their respective organizations and the whole Church.

“God’s love is felt through the Church Administration and this gathering is one proof,” Brother Pineda said.

“My faith has been strengthened once more. On my part, I will continue supporting the health programs being launched in our district,” said Liezel Vilale, district CMDPS vice president.

In other news, with God’s deep concern for man’s salvation and the Church’s nearing 109th anniversary as sources of inspiration, Light of Salvation (LOS) officers from the district attended a special gathering on February 19, 2023.

Brother Randy Macalinao, district supervising minister, officiated in the said occasion that was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Rome. Brethren from other local congregations and group worship services gathered at their respective houses of worship and connected via livestreaming.

In his Bible-based preaching, Brother Macalinao emphasized the importance of bearing fruits of holiness, primarily being God’s instruments in converting more people into the true Church. Regarding their personal needs and other concerns, he said, “God will help us. He will also endow us the qualities that we need in fulfilling our Church duties, especially as we unite in the works of propagation.”

“I’m more inspired to actively fulfill my Church duty. I will continue inviting more people to our evangelical missions and worship services,” said Meverson Talania, LOS officer from the Local Congregation of Roma Sud.

“The Church in its entirety is further intensifying the work of propagation for the glory of God. With God’s abiding help, I will be one with the Church Administration who does not fail in inspiring us to uphold God’s will,” said Carmelita Terrones from the Local Congregation of Rome. — With reports from INC News Section
