The Ecclesiastical District of Urdaneta City, Pangasinan recently dedicated its newly built chapel along Jacob Street in Barangay Nancayasan. The local congregation for whom it was built—aptly named the Local Congregation of Jacob—held its inaugural worship service on March 12, 2021, at which the district supervising minister, Brother Roderick Chulvo, officiated.

“The brethren were filled with so much joy that they arrived so early here,” said resident minister, Brother Gabriel Malonzo. “They anticipated not only the inauguration but more so God’s spiritual blessings.”

The brethren expressed their deep gratitude to God and to the Church Administration for making it possible for them to have a chapel of their own. As Lance Iverson Gundayao, the congregation’s head secretary, said, “We thank God and the Church Administration for providing this new house of worship. We will continue in our active services to God and our unity with the Church Administration.”

“We will take good care of this house of worship, for doing so is God’s commandment, and thus glorifying to Him,” assured Brother Gabriel Malonzo. — With reports from INC News Section
