
Church Of Christ members of the Jeju-si Group Worship Service (GWS), Ecclesiastical District of South Korea, together with the doctrinal instructees, moved by their high regard for Christian Family Organizations (CFO) activities, gathered for a bowling tournament on January 9, 2022.
Held at Jeju 33 Rock Bowling Field at Yeondong 290-51, Jeju-si, Jeju Island the sports activity saw brethren, led by Brother Johnnies Supnad, the resident minister, enjoy the friendly competition that only strengthened their brotherly bond.
“It is important that we hold activities such as this bowling activity because this strengthens our bond as brothers and sisters in the faith, and shows our unity with and obedience to the Church Administration,” said Brother Fermin Valdon, head deacon.
The brethren held their friendly bowling competition while complying with the health and safety protocols implemented by the government during this time of the pandemic.
“The brethren and I are truly happy that despite the current situation of the world, we are still able to see each other and be involved in the activities of the Church. We firmly believe that we are doing good not only to our physical health, but more importantly, we are becoming more spiritually fit by doing holy works, including the activities launched by the Church Administration,” said Brother Fermin.
