Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members residing in Sitio Jordan, Brgy. San Vicente, Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Philippines had all the more reason to praise and thank the Almighty God in their worship service on April 15, 2023 as they were gathered for the first time in their own place of worship.
As the brethren in the said hamlet had kept growing due to their diligence in the sharing of their faith to others and especially to God’s help and blessings, the Church Administration approved that they be organized into a group worship service. It would remain under the supervision of the San Felix Local Congregation with which the Jordan brethren were initially listed.
The inaugural worship service of the Jordan GWS was officiated by Brother Wilfredo Gonzales, San Pablo City, Laguna Ecclesiastical District’s supervising minister. In his Scripture-based homily, he enjoined the new GWS members to uphold a life of holiness as they devote themselves to the worship of God as true Christians.
“The establishment of the Jordan GWS has brought great inspiration to the brethren as they now have a place of worship of their own, and nearer to them at that,” said Brother Aldrin Manginon, resident minister of the San Felix Congregation. “We thank our Almighty God, through the instrumentality of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Church’s Executive Minister, for this vital development.” — With reports from Kathleen Belena of INC News Section
