KADIWA members from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba, Canada and Western Europe joined together in a virtual meet and greet activity on January 24, 2021.

The KADIWA district officers from both districts spearheaded the virtual games and other interactive activities during the program. The activity aims for the brethren to get to know one another.

The virtual activity made it easy for the KADIWA members to meet new friends without having to travel from Canada to Europe and vice versa.

Renee Ashlen Muñoz, from the Local Congregation of Winnipeg South, Manitoba, said, “The awesome conversations we made with the brethren from both districts made the activity more exciting in meeting new friends.”

Young brethren enjoyed engaging in friendly competitions and entering live interactive booths where certain topics are discussed, such as how to learn the Dutch and French languages, how to make crepes and poutine, basic keys for the piano and guitar, and discussion rooms for conversations to help the brethren engage virtually and know each other better.

Eya-paris Alejo, from the Local Congregation of Marseille, France, stated, “This activity opens a lot of opportunity for brethren especially in break-out rooms to know more each other better and find new friends.” She added, “The brethren found it easy to connect by just clicking the link to virtually meet brethren and make new friends from other districts.”

The brethren are thankful to the Church Administration for holding the said activity that tightened their bond as Christians and strengthened their faith. ― With reports from INC News Section
