Ending the year on a happy note, KADIWA members from the Ecclesiastical District of United Kingdom gathered for the KADIWA Formal on December 26, 2022. The activity was held at the Ivy Suite of the London Crown Hotel located along 142-152 Cricklewood Broadway, London.

“Having this activity indeed brought us closer together,” said JP Dosdos, KADIWA district president from the Local Congregation of Central London, England. “The brethren’s excitement was really felt, as some of us haven’t seen each other for a long time not only due to the pandemic but also because others live from as far as Dublin, Ireland, and East Anglia.”

The event started with a Bible-based lecture delivered by Brother Gerry Aliermo, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer.

“We were reminded not to blindly follow the culture and norms of today. We are to uphold, above all, Christian culture. That will remain embedded in my heart,” Dosdos said.

After the lecture, the KADIWA members explored various activity booths, which included the “Positivity Wall,” the Tic-Tac-Toe Corner, Speed Draw, Truth or Topple, and photo booth. The organizers also set up a quiz activity that challenged the attendees’ general knowledge about sports, geography, food, and their district. There were musical performances of INC original songs as well.

Meanwhile, certificates of recognition were also given to KADIWA members who showed exemplary dedication to their respective duties in the Church. — With reports from INC News Section
