KADIWA members from the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West held a short film competition on June 28, 2020. The 12 film entries portray Christian daily life in quarantine.
Brethren from the Metro Melbourne region, the states of South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania participated in the activity. Despite the pandemic, the brethren had been given an opportunity to express their creativity and skills in film making.
“Business Un-Usual” is the winning film, from the Local Congregation of Kingston City. The film told the story of a Church member who overcame challenges in her daily routine as a frontliner.
Many brethren easily relate with the story especially those who work as frontliners. Shyne for instance, an essential worker herself, understands the fear of walking out in public every day as she works as a personal care attendant at an aged care facility. The short film has taught her to be more prayerful and to have more faith in the Lord God. ― With reports from INC News Section
