“Months before the activity, district officers from Thailand, Australia East, and Australia West had joined to several meetings and planning conferences. We also conducted devotional prayers to ask God for the success of the activity,” said Louie Manuel, KADIWA chairperson from Thailand District. “We have prepared promo videos and posters and posted them every day in our social media accounts to inform as many brethren as possible about the activity.”
On October 24, 2021, the activity that the KADIWA officers prepared for was a success. Just in time for the organization’s 48th founding anniversary in October this year, the KADIWA leadership from the Ecclesiastical Districts of Thailand, Australia East, and Australia West facilitated the meet-and-greet activity.
Through videoconferencing, the youth members from various local congregations in the three districts met and interacted online. They played interactive games together. Live performances prepared by the organization’s district officers were also witnessed by the attendees. The KADIWA members were both elated and grateful because they once again met their friends from other districts and made new friends, too. Part of the activity was “KADIWA lounge” wherein participants had to answer the questions from their fellow members and share their inspiring experiences in life.
At the end of the program, Brother Richard Esperanza, the minister of the gospel who supervised the activity, taught the attendees a Bible-based lesson that emphasized the value of having a strong faith and determination so they will not be adversely affected by the many troubles in this world but continue being steadfast in the true faith. ― With reports from INC News Section
