“Disinformation is rampant. Being reminded to warily use social media is but timely,” said Gwelina Verduz, finance officer from the Local Congregation of Seoul.

She and hundreds of fellow young adults from the Ecclesiastical District of South Korea received such essential reminders during the KADIWA Forum, which was held on February 12, 2023 under the supervision of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers.

Gathered in their respective congregations’ houses of worship, the KADIWA members simultaneously watched a video presentation promoting the responsible use of social media. Afterwards, they were presented the advantages and disadvantages of social media to one’s life. More significantly, they were reminded that their online accounts could come in handy for the Church’s propagation work.

In response, the attendees expressed firm resolve of using various forms of social media the right way, especially in sharing the true faith to others at every opportune time. — With reports from INC News Section
