“There was no time that the brethren were hindered by the current pandemic. In fact, they continuously help in all the endeavors of the Church, including the work of propagation.”

Thus attested Brother Adonis Raza, Kalinga District Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer, of the brethren’s enthusiasm in helping spread the pure gospel despite what they were going through due to the pandemic.

As a result of their evangelistic efforts these past months, with the Lord’s help, the district held a baptism of new converts on August 27, 2021 thus increasing its membership.

Brother Franklin Villamar, district supervising minister, led the baptismal service held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Tabuk City, during which health and safety protocols were strictly observed.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Villamar taught about the importance of completely obeying God’s teachings, which he encouraged the candidates for baptism to uphold until they reach the salvation promised to them.

Interviewed newly baptized members said that they would join the brethren in the district in intensifying the work of propagation so that more people will come to the knowledge of the truth leading to salvation on Judgment Day.

“We firmly believe that the call of the Church Administration to us, is also the call of God. So, we will always unite in sharing our faith,” Brother Raza further said.

Located in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) in Luzon, Philippines, Kalinga is a landlocked and mountainous province which is placed in Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). — With reports from INC News Section
