Pagsamba Ng Kabataan (PNK) or Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila East competed in an online Tagisan ng Talino (battle of wits) on April 16, 2021.

PNK district officers organized the activity to enhance the children’s knowledge about the teachings of the Bible and Church’s history. Kids from various local congregations took part from their respective homes via videoconferencing.

“Even though there is still pandemic, participating in all Church activities in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) did not hinder the brethren,” said Shan Coe Gubantes, PNK member from the Local Congregation of De Castro. She added, “Such activity gives us additional knowledge and a chance to meet new friends online.”

“I am truly happy, even in this time of the pandemic, the Church Administration continuously supports such activity for Pagsamba Ng Kabataan members that brought joy and happiness to the young members,” said Adrianne Mei Esguerra, PNK officer from the Local Congregation of Mandaluyong.

“I am happy to be part of this activity because it is fun competing with my fellow PNK members about God’s teachings upheld in the Church of Christ,” said Rylie Escobar, PNK member from the Local Congregation of Mandaluyong.

The kids promised to always be active as PNK members and participate in all activities launched by the Church Administration. ― With reports from INC News Section
