To motivate the members of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) from the Local Congregation of Beaconsfield, Quebec, Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa, Canada, to be fit, a physical exercise activity was hosted for them on January 8, 2023.

The activity was held at the function hall of the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Pointe-Claire, right after their worship gathering on the said date. At present, gatherings of the Beaconsfield Congregation, including those in the CWS, are being held in Pointe-Claire as the congregation’s own house of worship is currently under renovation.

CWS officers led the children in following the set of exercises shown in one of the videos in “Active Break,” a series of short videos in the INCKids YouTube Channel that teaches children about the exercises suitable for them. The kids did jumping jacks, arm circles, hop, jog in place, among others. After the exercises, they cooled down through stretching.

“The kids truly enjoyed it,” Brother Glen Nobello, resident minister, observed. “The parents also enjoyed seeing their children participating in this kind of activity. They are thankful to the Church Administration for fostering health awareness in their children.” — With reports from INC News Section
