Not letting the Church members’ enthusiasm be dampened by stress due to the pandemic crisis, its Administration approve measures helpful to taking care of their spiritual welfare.

On April 12, 2021, Christian Employees Association (CEA) and Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Koronadal City, South Cotabato led their fellow brethren throughout the district in a stress management seminar.

It was held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Koronadal. Other attendees connected online.

“A lot of negative events happen around us, most of which give stress and negativity. Yet most people disregard the importance of mental health,” explained Bryan Cutin, who served as the keynote speaker. He is a registered psychometrician.

“This activity provides opportunity to our fellow brethren to learn more about the importance of mental health and how to address stress in a positive way,” he added.

Cyril Ranan, an attendee, said, “Being a bank employee, I experience stress at work every day. That is why activities like this are truly a great help and benefit for us.”

Brother Carlos Francisco Castro, minister of the gospel, supervised the activity. “We are so thankful to God for making His effective instruments in leading us, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, and most of all, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our Executive Minister,” he said. — With reports from INC News Section
