The Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Koronadal City, South Cotabato conducted a medical mission on May 15, 2021.
The CMDPS is an organization for members of the Church Of Christ who are doctors, dentists, nurses, as well as other medical and paramedical practitioners. It was organized by the Church Administration in every ecclesiastical district to help extend medical assistance to those who are in need, members and nonmembers alike.
Medical practitioners like Dr. Jeline Javellana, physician; Angelique Karen Gazmen, medical representative; and Vivialyn Muega, registered medical technologist, spearheaded the medical mission held in the compound of the Local Congregation of Centralia. They provided blood pressure check, uric acid testing, blood typing, and blood sugar testing.
“This activity truly brought great help to the brethren so they could know the condition of their health. Many benefited so much that they are so grateful to the Church Administration for their love and concern,” said Vivialyn.
Members and nonmembers alike received free medical consultations, medicines, and vitamins. ― With reports from INC News Section
