With thankfulness in their hearts, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of La Purisima, Ecclesiastical District of Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija dedicated their new house of worship to the Lord during their worship service on June 4, 2021.
Brother Ramir Pabalate Sr., district supervising minister, officiated at the much-anticipated worship service. He reminded the brethren during his Bible-based homily how God’s chosen people must value the house of worship with utmost care.
Corazon Orduela, congregation choir leader, said, “I could not explain how happy I am that our new house of worship was finally dedicated to God. Praises be unto Him for our answered prayers.”
After the worship service, Sister Erlinda Angeles, deaconess, was awarded a certificate of appreciation for lending a portion of her land on which was built a temporary place of worship for the brethren while their new house of worship was under construction.
“I thank the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, who was instrumental of God’s granting us of this beautiful house of worship,” she said.
The new house of worship is situated at Barangay La Purisima, Aliaga, Nueva Ecija, Philippines.
“This house of worship will serve as the Church members’ place of refuge, especially in this time of widespread and worsening poverty. Here the brethren can conduct devotional prayers, trusting God fully,” said Brother Jiglesia Jovellanos, assistant district supervising minister. “We promise to God that we will remain active in serving Him. We will give our very best in obeying all His commandments, one of which is unity with the Church Administration, until we receive His promised salvation.” — With reports from INC News Section
