As a result of the brethren’s zeal in uniting with the Church Administration’s drive to further intensify the work of propagation, more converts in the Ecclesiastical District of La Union recently received baptism.

On November 13, 2021, Brother Jonie Sibalo, assistant district supervising minister, officiated the holy baptism of the new converts held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Santiago Norte. Health and safety protocols were duly followed in compliance with Covid-19 precautions implemented by the government in the province of La Union.

During the study of God’s words, the importance of worship services for them to receive God’s blessings and to remain in their sacred election until the end was emphasized to the baptismal candidates.

Sheila Carbonell, one of the newly baptized members, now enlisted in the Sto. Tomas Congregation, expressed, “I am grateful to God because I received the true baptism and I am now a member of the true Church Of Christ.”

“The lesson we have received strengthened the faith of the brethren and even the newly baptized members,’ said Brother Samuel Mercado Sr., resident minister of the Caba Congregation. “We promise to continue participating in all the activities launched by the Church Administration especially in the works of propagation.” — With reports from INC News Section
