More people in the province of La Union, Philippines came to know more about the true Church Of Christ through the brethren’s efforts in intensively spreading the pure gospel in the recent months. As a result, new converts to the true faith were added into the Lord’s fold through the baptism held by the La Union Ecclesiastical District on October 15, 2021.

Together with the Church members instrumental in their conversion, candidates for baptism from various local congregations all over the district gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Aringay. Safety protocols were carefully observed all throughout the said event.

During the study of Gods words, the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Jonie Sibalo, emphasized the great importance of receiving the true baptism into the Church Of Christ in order to be saved on the Day of Judgment.

One of the newly baptized brethren, Lois Franchelle Gaborro, said, “I am immensely grateful to learn the [biblical] truths and Who really God is. Because of this, I persevered to join the Church.”

Fully believing in the great importance of being united with Church Administration in the work of propagation, Edwin Mangaoang, a head deacon said, on behalf of the brethren in his local congregation: “This is the reason we strive to all the more help in any possible means. We promise to invite more people to listen to God’s teachings being upheld in the Church Of Christ.”

The Ecclesiastical District of La Union is situated in the Ilocos region, the northwestern part of Luzon. Its district office is found at the chapel compound of the San Fernando Congregation along New Era St., Sevilla Norte, San Fernando City. — With reports from INC News Section
