Just days before the new year, the Local Congregation of Lae City in Papua New Guinea reached out anew to their fellowmen by conducting a series of evangelical missions and Care For Humanity events. Held on December 26, 27, and 29, 2022, these activities benefited the communities of Nawae Block, Kamkumung Village, and West Taraka, respectively.
Brother Joselito Omagap, minister of the gospel, led the said activities. In his preaching, he shared with the attendees God’s words about the role of the true Church for man to have the hope of receiving salvation.
After the evangelical mission, Church officers then handed out care packages, containing necessities and non-perishable food items, to the guests.
“We thank the Church Administration for their love and support in these advocacies to fight poverty and to help our fellowmen attain the hope for everlasting life by sharing with them the true faith,” said Brother Omagap.
The Local Congregation of Lae City and all the other congregations of the Church Of Christ in Papua New Guinea are under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West. — With reports from INC News Section
